Terms and reader license

Short answer: If you buy the Playbook, you may use it with your own agents and tools and adapt the templates for your own work. You may not resell it, republish it, share it beyond your license, use it to train AI models, or build a competing product from it. The free pages are free to read and link to.

1. Who these terms are with
These terms apply between you and Trailfinch (“we”). [TODO counsel: identify the contracting entity and, if the law or the payment processor requires it, where its name and address appear. Checkout may show the merchant of record as seller.]
2. The site and the free layer
You may read the free pages and link to them. Do not scrape the site at a rate that harms it. Public pages are open to search and answer tools. Do not use the paid edition, or anything behind the download area, to train AI models (see section 3). [TODO counsel: wording]
3. Reader license (paid edition)
When you buy, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license, for the edition and major version you bought, to:
- read the Playbook;
- load it into your own AI agents and tools to work with it;
- adapt the templates, checklists and Agent Pack files for your own projects and your own organization’s internal use.
You may not:
- resell, republish, share, sublicense or post the paid content, or give others access to your download or sign-in;
- use the content to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models, or include it in a dataset;
- use it to build a product or service that competes with the Playbook;

4. Updates and versions

5. Purchases and refunds

6. Our content, your content

7. Accuracy, no professional advice, results
The Playbook describes working methods for AI-assisted software work. Tools, prices and model behavior change quickly, and pages carry dates. We do not promise any particular outcome, time saving or revenue. Use your own judgment and keep your own backups and security controls. This is not legal, financial or security advice.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

9. Ending
We may suspend access if you break these terms (for example by sharing paid content). You may stop using the Playbook at any time. Sections that should survive do.
