How to report an error

Email corrections@trailfinch.com with the page URL, what is wrong, and a source if you have one. [TODO confirm whether each page links to this address, and say so here if it does]

What we do

  1. Acknowledge within 5 business days (target, not a guarantee).
  2. Check the claim against sources and, where it applies, by re-running the steps.
  3. Fix verified errors. Substantive corrections are marked on the page. Small typo fixes may be unmarked.
  4. Reply to tell you the outcome, with the reason if we disagree.

How corrections are marked

Each corrected page carries a dated line near the top, in this format:

Updated 2026-11-02: corrected the tool pricing in the third table.

The page’s last updated date changes. Paid-edition errata are listed in the changelog and delivered to buyers of that version. [TODO confirm]

Disputes and requests

We correct facts. We do not change substance because someone asks, and we do not promise any particular outcome. We will consider replies from anyone a page refers to and may add a dated note.
